Approach

Brian has photographed professionally since 2005, coming to weddings from editorial work, cinematography and concert lighting. That background is still what shapes a wedding day here: read the room, light it properly, and stay out of the way of the thing actually happening.

A photograph is not a prop you stand in. Every wedding collection is built around two photographers and eight hours of coverage, edited digital files with black and white conversions, an online gallery for family, and lifetime archival storage of the images.

The studio is in Apex and the calendar covers Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill, with destination weddings photographed nationally and internationally. Brian is a member of the Wedding Photojournalist Association, a Fearless photographer, a convention speaker and a teacher to other photographers.
